Job Title: Technical Manager (Wind Energy) - Beijing Office

Location: Beijing, China

Our client, a leading renewable energy EPC, is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to join their team in the Beijing office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wind energy and be able to provide technical leadership and support to a team of engineers and project managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and support to a team of engineers and project managers working on wind energy projects.

  • Develop technical solutions and specifications for wind energy projects, ensuring that they meet all relevant standards and regulations.

  • Work with other departments, including sales, procurement, and project management, to ensure that all projects are aligned with company goals and customer needs.

  • Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Conduct technical reviews and audits of wind energy projects, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring that best practices are being followed.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in wind energy, and provide guidance and recommendations to senior management.

  • Support business development efforts by providing technical expertise and input to proposals and bids.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in a relevant field such as mechanical or electrical engineering.

  • At least 8 years of experience in wind energy, with a strong background in technical leadership and project management.

  • Knowledge of wind energy technologies, including turbines, blades, and control systems.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Fluency in Mandarin and English.
