​Title: Sr Electrical Engineer

Location: Beaumont-Port Arthur Area (On-site)

Principal/SR Electrical Engineer required to join a leading contractor, with a focus on Power Systems & Renewables. Must be based in or willing to relocate to Port Arthur-Beaumont area.

Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the development of electrical systems, concentrating on power distribution, generation, and safeguarding.

• Execute meticulous electrical engineering calculations and assessments, including load flow studies, short circuit analysis, and arc flash studies.

• Offer technical proficiency and counsel to project teams throughout all project phases.

• Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to grasp project requisites and goals.

• Ensure adherence to pertinent industry benchmarks, codes, and regulations.

• Conduct on-site inspections to evaluate existing electrical setups and pinpoint areas for enhancement.

• Review and sanction electrical designs, blueprints, and documentation prepared by junior engineers and designers.

• Participate in the initiation and evaluation of electrical systems to guarantee operational efficacy and performance.

• Remain abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and optimum practices within the realm of electrical engineering.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

• PE License - Essential

• Competence in electrical design software like ETAP, SKM, or equivalent is advantageous.

• Renewable energy experience is advantageous
