TGRC has a new role for a Solar PV Construction Manager, where your expertise in solar and wind projects will be pivotal in the successful delivery of new greenfield initiatives. You will play a crucial role in overseeing construction programs, collaborating with EPC contractors, and facilitating seamless handovers to the Portfolio Management Team.
As a Construction and Project Manager, your responsibilities will encompass:
Project Management Excellence:
Oversee the construction management of greenfield projects, ensuring adherence to quality and compliance standards.
Manage EPC contractors, and EPC contracts, and liaise with Legal and Technical Advisors for a comprehensive project management approach.
Represent the company before local and public authorities, delivering complete Project Data Room and documentation to the Portfolio Team.
Technical Support and Due Diligence:
Provide technical support to the Investment Team on new solar and wind investment opportunities.
Support the Investment Team in acquiring greenfield or operational projects in the solar and wind sectors.
Apply a comprehensive understanding of technical due diligence processes and collaborate effectively with Technical Advisors.
Solar Farm Expertise:
Leverage your experience in solar farm design and construction, including grid connection, substation, HV design, security, monitoring systems, civil, and mechanical components.
Demonstrate proficiency in navigating Greek regulations related to planning, low and high voltage norms, and grid requirements.
Manage EPC and O&M agreements, demonstrating a solid understanding of key commercial elements in solar PV deals.
Successfully negotiate and contract with key suppliers and subcontractors to ensure project success.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Implement QA/QC protocols for Solar Farms and related equipment, ensuring installations meet the highest quality and technical specifications.
Commissioning and Testing:
Apply a strong understanding of commissioning and testing methodologies to guarantee project success.
Conduct site visits to verify installations meet the correct quality, and technical specifications, and align with agreed-upon designs.
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
Proven experience in solar farm design and construction, with a comprehensive grasp of grid connection, substation, HV design, security, monitoring systems, and civil, and mechanical aspects.
A deep understanding of technical due diligence processes, complemented by effective management and collaboration with Technical Advisors.
Familiarity with Greek regulations governing planning, low and high voltage norms, and grid requirements.
Expertise in EPC and O&M agreements, including negotiation and a clear comprehension of key commercial elements in solar PV deals.
Demonstrated success in delivering EPC Detail Engineering and Owner Engineering requirements.
Proven track record in seeking, selecting, and negotiating contracts with key suppliers and subcontractors.
Experience in QA/QC (quality assurance and quality control) in Solar Farms and related equipment.
Proficiency in commissioning and testing methodologies, coupled with the ability to conduct site visits for quality assurance.
