Summary: 

A leading international solar developer are currently recruiting for a Project Manager for their Sydney office who will assist in the delivery of their upcoming Utility scale solar PV projects. This business has an impressive portfolio of upcoming solar projects across Australia and they are seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for the delivery of solar PV projects from project approval to handover

You will have experience in constructing and delivering utility scale solar PV projects in Australia. This is a brand-new vacancy that is a vital position in the Australian team’s structure and is a perfect role for a solar professional seeking more autonomy and greater responsibilities in their next role.

 

 

Your Role: 

As Project Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for the construction of utility scale solar farms from project initiation to handover
  • Liaise with various stakeholders during the entire EPC process and retain effective relationships with all relevant parties
  • Be the first point of contact for clients
  • Preparation of weekly and monthly reports
  • Help with the development of company processes
  • Ensure key project outcomes are achieved on time, to budget and to the highest standard possible

 

Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • University degree in a relevant subject
  • 3+ years’ Project Management experience
  • Experience in the delivery of utility scale solar PV projects
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Understanding of the management of a construction process in Solar PV
  • Willingness to regularly travel internationally
  • Good written and oral communication skills
