​The Opportunity:

My client are seeking a Solar Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team in Madrid. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the project development teams in Europe.

The Role:

The analyst should have an understanding and experience in the following:

• Work with the Solar Development team to create cash flow project models and analysis.

• Prepare financial models and documents working directly with the Solar Developers and potential clients and establish a process for best practice

• Form relationships and provide analytical support for the wider business

• Understand the degrees of transaction structures and key elements of negotiations in renewable energy.

• Research on global solar storage and battery market trends, legislation and route to market options & transactions

• Build sector expertise to promote the company through publications and research reports.

• Recognise any areas of improvement and implement new strategies for the company's financial models

• Assist with monthly market analysis by creating financial models

The Individual

• Degree in Engineering, Mathematics

• 3-5 years’ experience in renewable energy

• Highly analytical with excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships

• Advanced in excel

• Must have global financial modelling exposure

• Understanding of battery energy storage and solar projects

• Fluency in English & Spanish verbal and written

• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office products
