EXPERIENCED WIND OR SOLAR ANALYST

Location: Glasgow or Bristol

Salary: Highly negotiable depending on experience

A global, independent, and leading renewables consultancy. We require experienced analysts to join our respected Analysis Services team working on wind and solar projects world‑wide to facilitate the growth of renewable energy. Wind and solar analysis is an evolving science, and our aim is to be the best wind and solar analysis team in the industry; to maximise our contribution to project value and the development and operation of better renewable energy projects.

Your Profile:

Essential Criteria:

  • Relevant previous analysis experience in onshore or offshore wind (>5 years)
  • A 2:1 minimum degree or equivalent in engineering, physics, meteorology or mathematics
  • Ability to work as part of a diverse and international team

Desirable Criteria:

  • Advanced computing aptitude, including data handling and analysis
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Enthusiasm to support the development of junior staff
  • Proficiency in project and time management
  • Confidence in providing technical advisory to a range of technical and non-technical clients
  • The flexibility and enthusiasm to thrive in an expanding business
  • Experience of wind farm analysis and documentation review to support technical due diligence
  • Academic background that includes fluid dynamics
  • Experience of computer programming, including Python & Fluency in other languages
