The Client:

The Green Recruitment Company are working with a leading energy supplier to assist in their search for a SME Pricing Analyst. With over 150 individuals, they are working together to make choosing cleaner energy, saving energy and reducing customer’s utility bills easier. They are looking for a SME Pricing analyst to help enhance their pricing and product functional expertise in the B2B market.

Job Purpose:

• Operating between sales, operations and supply to offer timely, accurate and competitively structured energy products and services to our SME customers.

Accountability/Key Responsibilities

• Production of SME prices to the marketplace
• Propose SME Pricing Policy
• Identifying improvements to processes and systems
• Minimizing risks associated with the SME Pricing and contracting process
• Supporting audits of data
• Working with IT, deliver system improvements and UAT testing

• Technical and excellent Excel skills
• Understanding of SQL/VBA or desire to learn
• Proactive, driven and keen to take on responsibility
• Can work under pressure to tight deadlines
• Analytical, able to problem solve and conceive new ways of working
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral
• Disciplined and organized approach to work
• Demonstrated success in a fast-paced team environment

Knowledge

• Previous experience in the energy industry, with direct experience of financial or commercial functions, commercial pricing experience is ideal
• Degree educated in a numerical/​business discipline, or equivalent
