About the Company: Our client is a leading Renewable Energy Developer with a strong commitment to sustainability and the environment. They specialize in utility-scale solar PV projects and are currently seeking a dedicated Site Safety Representative to join their team in Massachusetts on a contractual basis.

Job Description: As a Site Safety Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all personnel working on utility-scale solar PV projects in Massachusetts. Your primary responsibility will be to implement and enforce safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and promote a culture of safety excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits at project sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

• Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to develop and maintain a comprehensive safety plan.

• Provide safety training and orientation to all project personnel, ensuring they are aware of safety procedures and guidelines.

• Investigate accidents and incidents, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

• Maintain and update safety records, incident reports, and safety-related documentation.

• Stay current with state and federal safety regulations and industry best practices.

• Act as a point of contact for safety-related inquiries and concerns from project personnel.

• Promote a positive safety culture by actively engaging with on-site teams and fostering a sense of responsibility for safety.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Site Safety Representative or similar role in construction or renewable energy projects.

• Knowledge of utility-scale solar PV construction safety practices and regulations.

• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and industry-specific safety standards.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.

• Certification in safety-related fields (e.g., OSHA 30-Hour, First Aid/CPR) is a plus.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
