Senior Sales Executive

Job description

​As part of our client's sales division, you will drive the commercial promotion of our renewable energy digital solutions portfolio—including Openwind, Windographer, Homer Front, Wind Navigator, wind resource data and maps, HOMER Pro, and Grid—to key stakeholders such as wind project developers, utility companies, independent power producers (IPPs), and engineering consultancies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and qualify new business opportunities while partnering with software product specialists to build and sustain productive client partnerships, showcasing our comprehensive software offerings through both inbound and outbound initiatives.

  • Conduct presentations of our diverse product portfolio to prospective clients, manage trial engagements, pursue inbound inquiries, and advance opportunities toward successful deal closure.

  • Support strategic planning for designated software products and services by offering insights into customer requirements, challenges, market trends, and feedback to the product/service management team.

  • Develop and execute an account management plan to prioritize key client relationships year-round, uncover renewal possibilities, deliver software demonstrations, and guide clients on integrating our solutions into their current IT infrastructure.

  • Foster long-term client engagement post-sale to secure recurring software renewals and identify potential upsell or cross-sell opportunities across the product suite.

  • Work alongside Solution Architects to collect and clarify customer technical and business needs.

  • Engage specialized technical personnel, such as engineers, as required to enhance sales support for complex product and service opportunities.

  • Relay customer insights, feedback, and feature requests to relevant product development teams.

  • Coordinate with sales professionals in other business units to uncover collaboration opportunities and maximize account synergy from shared clients, establishing consistent communication touchpoints.

  • Participate actively in scheduled department and team meetings, as well as relevant industry forums and events as needed.

Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in B2B software sales.

  • Background in selling digital solutions within the renewable energy sector is strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and surpassing sales quotas.

  • Strong business insight and thorough knowledge of sales methodologies and cycles.

  • Ability to collaborate efficiently with team members to produce high‑quality, timely proposals.

  • Skilled at working cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented setting.

  • Proactive team contributor, independent initiator, and adept multitasker capable of rapidly shifting focus as priorities change.

  • Talent for building and maintaining positive, trust‑based client relationships.

  • Competency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and CRM platforms.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities; fluency in English is essential.

  • Candidates must be based locally and able to work without employer-sponsored visa support. Preference will be given to Chinese nationals.
