Project Executive (Solar)
Job description
The Project Executive provides senior-level leadership across all Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project activities.
Essential Functions
Lead project estimating, scheduling, constructability reviews, value engineering, procurement, and execution activities.
Ensure safety and quality standards are met across all assigned projects.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, engineering partners, clients, and internal teams to resolve design and pre-bid issues.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout all project phases.
Present proposals to both new and existing clients.
Identify, address, and communicate project risks and opportunities to executive leadership.
Support the development and negotiation of vendor and subcontractor contract agreements.
Manage the change order process, including negotiation, assessment of cost and schedule impacts, and preparation of claims.
Interpret project schedules to determine key milestones related to equipment delivery, pricing, submittals, approvals, and procurement timelines.
Manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously from inception through completion.
Drive business development efforts with existing and prospective clients.
Qualifications
At least 5 years of leadership experience on utility-scale renewable energy projects.
Comprehensive understanding of the full construction lifecycle for large commercial and industrial projects.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with personnel at all levels, including owners, managers, subcontractors, and clients.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Outlook, and related software; experience with Procore and AutoCAD preferred.
