The Green Recruitment Company are working alongside a world leading business providing software and advisory services for post-subsidy renewable energy sales and risk management. In short facilitating the purchase and growth of PPAs.
Their advisory team has supported more than 80 PPA transactions, with a volume of over 20 GW. They manage transactions, support negotiations, source off-takers and advise M&A. Distilling 20+ years of energy trading knowledge into user-friendly software tools, they connect key players in the renewable energy market to accelerate the transition to a sustainable, renewable energy future.
The Role:
As a Senior Risk Advisory Manager, you will take a lead role for shaping and developing business out of Zurich, London or remotely. Together with a team of dedicated professionals, you will utilise and leverage highly sophisticated pricing, analytics and monitoring software for renewable operating in post-subsidy energy markets.
Responsibilities:
Shape and build this client’s presence and profile as a leading advisor in energy risk management.
Assess and understand client risk management needs and guide them on how to build the appropriate capability from state-of-the art energy risk management products and services.
Actively originate new clients and market our services internationally.
Manage day-to-day operations of complex advisory and software project deliveries.
Develop solid working relationships with senior and C-level client contacts.
Contribute actively to product development, and present at webinars and industry events.
The Individual:
Solid hands-on experience in strategy consulting, organisational development, energy risk management, trading, and/or energy sales (ideally 6+ years of experience).
Entrepreneurial spirit with a high sense of ownership and a track record of delivering results.
The ability to see the big picture and join the dots for developing a vision with the client
Strong project management skills paired with a convincing personality and sales drive.
Knowledge of the role ETRM, CTRMs and other energy risk related software systems have in helping companies manage risk.
Analytical mind with an aptitude in creative problem-solving.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to reduce complex information into actionable frameworks and connect at all levels of the client.
An advanced degree in business, engineering or similar.
Fluency in English and at least one other language, preferably German, French, Spanish or Italian.
