Position: Senior QSHE Manager

Location: Ivory Coast

Role and Responsibilities: As the Senior QSHE Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the QSHE function across the company's operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and implementing comprehensive QSHE strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with international standards and local regulations.

  2. Leading and guiding the QSHE team in effectively managing quality, safety, health, and environmental aspects of project execution.

  3. Conducting risk assessments and implementing risk mitigation measures to prevent incidents and accidents in the workplace.

  4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate QSHE considerations throughout the project lifecycle.

  5. Monitoring and auditing project sites and facilities to ensure adherence to QSHE standards and identifying areas for improvement.

  6. Implementing incident investigation protocols, analyzing root causes, and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

  7. Providing training and promoting awareness of QSHE practices among employees, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

  8. Developing and maintaining relationships with regulatory bodies and external QSHE consultants.

  9. Preparing and presenting regular reports on QSHE performance and trends to senior management.

Requirements: To excel in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.

  2. Proven experience in a senior QSHE management role within the renewable energy or construction industry.

  3. In-depth knowledge of international QSHE standards, regulations, and best practices.

  4. Experience in managing QSHE aspects of large-scale projects, including risk assessments, incident investigations, and audits.

  5. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and drive a culture of QSHE excellence throughout the organization.

  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.

  7. Fluency in both spoken and written English is required. Proficiency in French is highly desirable.

  8. Willingness to travel to project sites within the Ivory Coast and potentially internationally.
