Based in the vibrant city of Beijing, we advocate for nature, promoting sustainable development and ensuring that the earth’s natural diversity is preserved for future generations.

Role Overview

As a Senior Project Manager, you will spearhead various conservation projects, ensuring they are executed effectively, ethically, and within budget. You will navigate through the complexities of international conservation efforts, collaborating with diverse stakeholders and leading your team towards making a tangible impact on global conservation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead diverse nature conservation projects from inception to completion.

• Engage and negotiate with stakeholders including government entities, local communities, and international partners.

• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial transparency and efficiency.

• Ensure all projects comply with local and international environmental laws and ethical guidelines.

• Lead, inspire, and develop a multi-disciplinary team to deliver on project objectives.

• Report on project progress, challenges, and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 8 years’ experience in project management within the conservation or environmental sector.

• Proven experience in leading and managing large-scale projects, preferably on an international scale.

• A bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Conservation, Project Management, or related field. A master’s degree will be considered an asset.

• Proficient in project management software and tools.

• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Fluency in English and Mandarin.
