Job description
The Green Recruitment Company is searching for a Project Finance Manager to work in a leading IPP to manage the structuring and implementation of the financing of each project, including senior debt, guarantee programs, and credit‑enhancement solutions supported by insurance.
Responsibilities
Develop and continuously update a comprehensive landscape of lenders and guarantors across Latin America, including commercial banks and policy banks focused on renewable energy and infrastructure financing.
Craft bankability approaches tailored to each project’s technical profile, country‑specific risks, and sponsor characteristics.
Oversee the entire financing process—from initial lender outreach and term‑sheet discussions to credit approvals, documentation, and financial close.
Serve as the company’s central point of coordination with banks, guarantors, and insurers, aligning technical, legal, and commercial workstreams.
Supervise the negotiation and finalization of financing and guarantee agreements, collaborating closely with legal advisors and internal teams to ensure timely completion.
Requirements:
Plus 5 years of project-finance syndication or energy-lending desk at an international commercial bank in Latin America.
Demonstrated track record of at least 3 closed limited-recourse deals in solar, onshore wind, battery storage or green-field transmission.
Knowledge, expertise and networking with major banks and financial institutions and of each major bank’s credit approval “hot buttons”: tenor caps, technology reserve accounts, DSRA sizing, political-risk cover, etc.
CFA, MBA or MSc Finance preferred; modelling skills sufficient to stress-test own cash-flows.
Fluency in English.
