​Our client, a global, independent and leading consultancy in offshore wind, is expanding their commercial advisory services and looking for a Senior Procurement Consultant to join their team.

Executing procurement activities on wind projects

Within this position, you will be responsible for the commercial parts of their clients projects, which are mainly offshore and onshore wind projects, from an early development phase to the completion of the project.

​

Some key areas of responsibility include:

• Delivering procurement advice to clients, development of procurement strategies and tender documentation.

• Delivering technical work associated with project delivery.

• Executing commercial activities and leading negotiations.

• Active development of global supplier relationships.

• Developing bids for new projects.

• Management and coordination of project teams to include planning and assigning. responsibilities for project staff in the procurement phase.

Commercial mindset and stakeholder management skills:

• Financial, commercial and/or engineering background combined with +5 years of international experience from a similar position in the renewable energy industry

• Experience with procurement, commercial or category management, contracting and/or negotiations

• Excellent English language skills, both verbally and in writing

• Willing and able to travel around the world during your assignments.
