​Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Location: Wimbledon, UK

My client is a leading Renewable Engineering Consultancy firm, operating on behalf of funds, investment houses, owners and developers in the Offshore Wind sector. They are a fast growing, innovative and exciting renewable company to work for, that offer excellent opportunity for development.

We are seeking a hands-on experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer who will be working on offshore wind projects and providing geotechnical input in the design and consultancy work as well as work in close collaboration with a passionate and ambitious multi-disciplinary team of seismic, structural, nautical, and maritime engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Geotechnical design/survey/installation works for foundations and subsea structures.

• OWT foundation design (monopile, jackets, and/or GBS).

• Loads analysis.

• Geotechnical interpretative reports.

• Leading geotechnical engineering packages from feasibility to detailed design.

• Providing input on project deliverables.

Qualifications:

• Offshore Wind engineering experience

• Geotechnical/ Structural/ Civil Engineering degree

• Chartered member of ICE or working toward similar scheme

• Offshore wind turbine foundation design

• Knowledge of construction and T&I for OWF
