Job title: Senior Fundamentals Analyst
Location: United States (Remote)
TGRC is looking for a Senior Fundamentals Analyst to support developing and executing their ambitious asset pipeline throughout the US.
Their client, a growing and impressive battery storage developer, owner and operator (IPP) is scaling their Analytics team. A Senior Fundamentals Analyst needs to be a strong Power Markets researcher with an expert understanding of US Power fundamentals and experience communicating research to key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Research generation buildout and retirements across multiple ISOs.
Analyze the effects of varying fuel prices, metal prices, policy changes, etc. on the power stack in multiple ISOs.
Analyze the effect of various weather scenarios on BESS revenue.
Create statistics around Power markets to be utilized in long-term revenue forecasts for new BESS projects.
Create market reports communicating findings in a clear, concise manner.
Must-Haves:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a quantitative discipline.
At least three years of experience as a US Power fundaments researcher or similar role.
Very good knowledge of US Power, including an understanding of drivers of both carbon and renewable asset behaviour.
Experience querying data from a database, such as AWS Redshift and/or Snowflake.
Experience working with large amounts of data.
Good knowledge of Statistics.
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience with BESS is a plus.
In addition, experience with Tableau or other BI Software is a plus.
Furthermore, embrace a disciplined entrepreneurial culture.
Be a team player at all times, with shared responsibilities and expectations.
Lastly, must have work authorization to work in the United States.
