Job description
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Fund Manager to oversee the strategy, execution, and performance of one or more of our renewable energy funds. The ideal candidate will bring strong board-level experience, deep understanding of the utility-scale renewables landscape, and a sharp commercial mindset. You will play a pivotal role in shaping investment strategy, managing stakeholder relationships, and driving value across a portfolio of clean energy assets.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the overall management and performance of renewable energy investment funds
Drive fund strategy, capital deployment, and portfolio construction in alignment with ESG and financial objectives
Oversee the full investment lifecycle: origination, due diligence, execution, and asset management
Serve on the boards of portfolio companies and SPVs, ensuring robust governance, compliance, and performance oversight
Build and maintain relationships with LPs, co-investors, developers, and strategic partners
Work closely with internal teams (legal, finance, technical, and asset management) to ensure successful delivery of investment goals
Represent the firm and funds at industry events, investor briefings, and stakeholder meetings
Provide mentoring and leadership to junior investment professionals
Essential Requirements
10+ years of experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, private equity, or institutional investment
Proven board experience (e.g. NED, SPV governance, IC membership, or portfolio board roles)
Strong track record managing or investing in utility-scale renewable energy projects
Deep understanding of investment structuring, project finance, M&A, and energy market dynamics
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including with LPs, developers, and regulators
Demonstrated leadership in managing investment teams and driving strategic initiatives
CFA, ACA, MBA or other relevant financial/investment qualifications preferred
