Senior Advisor, Private Equity - Digital Infrastructure

​TGRC is excited to partner with a global infrastructure investment fund, headquartered in the USA, with over USD$50 billion in assets under management, in search of a Senior Advisor to strengthen its origination capabilities for their planned multi-billion dollar digital infrastructure investments in Japan. The fund’s mandate includes identifying and developing high-quality investment opportunities in the digital infrastructure industry that support long-term sustainability and economic resilience.

The role will suit senior executives with extensive regional networks, buy-side and/or sell-side transaction experience and a proven track record of working with or within Tier 1 infrastructure funds to originate proprietary investment opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage established professional networks in Japan to identify and introduce proprietary or off-market investment opportunities.

  • Provide strategic insights and market intelligence across the Digital Infrastructure sectors (e.g., data centers, fiber networks, towers).

  • Facilitate introductions to and participate in high-level discussions with key stakeholders, including corporates, developers, utilities, government-linked entities, and regulators.

  • Collaborate with internal investment teams to screen and qualify opportunities and support due diligence and underwriting efforts.

Expectations
  • Well-established experience and/or track record in infrastructure investment, development, or advisory roles.

  • Demonstrated success in originating and/or executing transactions within the digital infrastructure sector.

  • Senior-level relationships with infrastructure asset owners, developers, government agencies, and institutional partners.

  • Experience with leading global infrastructure investment funds is strongly preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of local regulatory environments and market dynamics in Japan.

  • Fluency in Japanese is a must, with proficiency in English.

  • Independent, entrepreneurial, and capable of operating flexibly within an advisory framework.
