Digital Marketing Manager
Job description
We’re hiring a data-driven Digital Marketing Manager to join a fast-growing renewable energy company transforming how homeowners across the UK adopt clean energy solutions. The business combines national engineering expertise with trusted regional installer teams to deliver reliable solar, battery and home energy technology — and is now scaling rapidly.
This role will play a critical part in building and scaling a high-performing digital lead generation engine, delivering consistent, high-quality homeowner enquiries across priority UK regions.
Reporting directly to the CEO and managing a Content Marketing Executive, you will own digital acquisition strategy end-to-end — from channel planning and campaign execution to funnel optimisation, CRM nurture and performance reporting.
This is a hands-on, commercially focused position with real ownership and visibility, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Revenue Growth
Own and scale the end-to-end digital acquisition strategy to deliver qualified homeowner leads at target CPL and regional volumes.
Develop and optimise multi-channel campaigns across email, SEO, paid channels, community forums, events, video and emerging platforms.
Manage and allocate marketing budget to maximise marketing-attributed leads and revenue.
Forecast lead volumes and conversion metrics, tracking marketing’s contribution to sales pipeline and reporting ROI to the CEO.
Work closely with sales teams to improve lead quality, lead-to-sale conversion and overall customer acquisition cost (CAC).
Identify scalable growth opportunities to increase enquiry volume while maintaining efficiency.
Funnel, CRM & Conversion Optimisation
Own and optimise the full digital lead journey from first click through to qualified sales handover and post-sale engagement.
Improve lead-to-meeting conversion rates through structured funnel optimisation and automation.
Lead landing page and website testing, including messaging, UX improvements and A/B experimentation.
Implement and manage marketing automation workflows (email, SMS, re-engagement).
Segment audiences within HubSpot CRM to personalise communication based on homeowner profile and buying intent.
Use behavioural and performance data to continuously refine nurture sequences.
Brand & Demand Creation
Help shape and scale the company’s brand positioning as a trusted renewable energy provider.
Support the creation of educational and conversion-focused content including guides, tools and case studies.
Strengthen retargeting and remarketing strategies to convert awareness into qualified enquiries.
Balance short-term performance marketing with long-term brand demand generation.
Data, Reporting & Analytics
Own marketing performance reporting across CPL, CPM, conversion rates and LTV:CAC.
Ensure accurate tracking and attribution across the website and CRM.
Build clear dashboards and provide weekly performance insights with actionable recommendations.
Continuously optimise budget allocation and channel performance to maximise ROI.
Strategic Growth Initiatives
Test and scale new acquisition channels including affiliates, partnerships and review platforms.
Manage relationships with agencies and external partners where required.
Stay ahead of market trends in renewable energy and home technology to inform strategy.
Skills & Experience

Comfortable reporting directly to senior leadership.
Ability to operate in a fast-growing, high-accountability environment.
Beneficial
