Senior Fund Accountant/Manager
Job description
I’m currently working with a leading business looking to hire a Senior Fund Accountant/Fund Finance Manager to oversee the financial management of a UK listed investment fund. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a listed fund background who wants to take on a broader leadership role within a highly respected platform in the renewable infrastructure space.
The Role
You will take ownership of the financial management of the listed fund, working closely with senior stakeholders and supporting the strategic growth of the portfolio.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing statutory accounts and the audit process for the listed fund
Overseeing half-year and full-year financial reporting
Leading the annual budgeting process and monthly financial reporting
Supporting the Net Asset Value (NAV) process and providing variance analysis
Overseeing cash flow management across the fund and SPV structures
Managing corporation tax and VAT for the fund and its joint ventures
Monitoring debt facilities and covenant reporting
Ensuring compliance with UK Listing Rules, FCA, LSE and MAR requirements
Building relationships with the Board, auditors, fund administrators, tax advisors and external asset managers
Supporting financial analysis for M&A and portfolio growth activities
What We’re Looking For
Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
Strong experience working within a listed fund or investment trust environment (essential)
Solid understanding of UK Listing Rules, governance frameworks and regulatory reporting
Experience in fund accounting, financial reporting and audit management
Renewable energy or infrastructure exposure is advantageous but not essential
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
