​We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to support a finance team on a 6-month freelance contract. This is a hands-on role suited to someone comfortable managing accounting operations, working with external advisors, and supporting year-end processes.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting

• Prepare year-end financial statements

• Coordinate and support the year-end audit process

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping and financial records

• Record supplier invoices within the accounting system

• Process monthly credit card statements and travel expenses

Tax

• Prepare monthly or quarterly VAT returns

• Support the preparation of Corporate Income Tax (CIT) returns in collaboration with external tax advisors

Payroll Coordination

• Coordinate with external payroll providers

• Align payroll documentation with HR and submit to the payroll consultant

• Review payroll-related documentation and ensure accuracy

• Liaise with the internal team responsible for salary payments

Profile

• Strong experience in accounting and financial reporting

• Solid understanding of VAT and corporate tax processes

• Experience working with auditors, tax advisors, and payroll providers

• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills

• Comfortable working independently in a

  freelance/contractor capacity
