As a member of the Policy & Regulation team, you will play a crucial role in our company's engagement with the energy industry, focusing on dynamic subjects such as the industry's transition to Net Zero. Your responsibilities will include identifying, assessing, and prioritizing significant industry changes that will impact our operational, commercial, and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries from the industry.

• Conduct research and generate content for the weekly policy update.

• Assist in researching and writing content for a quarterly risk report for customers.

• Monitor and respond to relevant consultations.

• Oversee code governance and address the implications of modifications on our company.

• Assist in proposing modifications in line with our company’s objectives.

• Contribute to the internal upskilling of staff.

• Attend industry workgroups and conferences.

• Cultivate relationships with contacts in regulatory bodies and the broader industry.

About You

• 1-2 years of experience in a policy, regulation, or compliance energy team.

• Strong interest in current affairs.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Meticulous attention to detail.

• A confident communicator capable of expressing views internally and externally, including challenging others when necessary.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience dealing with governance frameworks.
