Role Summary:

As the Senior Renewables Consultant, you will lead and deliver Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (CPPA), Virtual Power Purchase Agreements (vPPA), and renewable functions in the UK and Europe. Be the subject matter expert in these areas and maintain a PPA developer database for client requirements. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and de-risk innovative business offerings based on market intelligence and target client profiles. Represent the company with customers, industry partners, and internal stakeholders. Enhance proposal narratives and collaborate with industry stakeholders to expand the renewable services market. Contribute to Renewable Services Strategy and engage in strategic decision-making. Foster transparency and leverage engagement with policy, regulatory, and government affairs counterparts.

About the Ideal Person:

  • 10+ years of experience in energy markets, renewable energy policy, sustainability frameworks, commercial structures, and technology considerations.

  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis.

  • Expert-level insight into complex energy market dynamics and PPA structures, including VPPAs.

  • Strong client-facing, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to think laterally for different customer requirements.

  • Pan-European experience and understanding of European legislation.

  • Bachelor's degree in Policy, Business, Economics, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

  • Proven leadership, collaboration, and management skills.

  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.

  • Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to travel.

Location: Remote (Hybrid flexibility available)

Work Environment:

  • 9am – 5:30pm, occasional evening and weekend duties may be required.

  • Travel may be necessary for events and off-site engagements.
