Job description
Job Title: Sales Support Manager
Location: London 3 days/week
Salary: Competitive DOE
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing sales team operating within one of the UK's leading independent providers of sustainable energy supply and solutions to large-scale commercial and industrial businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and develop the Sales Support team ensuring that all team members understand and deliver their targets
Recruit, set objectives, train, and monitor performance ensuring assigned tasks and responsibilities are fulfilled
Management of metrics/analytical systems to enable data-driven business decisions
Establish best practices and processes for both sales and sales interactions with other departments
Ensure policies, procedures, training manuals, and sales-related resource is maintained
Development and maintenance of periodic reports and Key Performance Indicators
Oversee decisions on credit, working with the Sales Manager, Commercial and Credit Control teams to mitigate credit risk
Collaborate with other leaders to proactively drive the commercial strategy of the business
Your Profile:
An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to bring significant value to the business
Significant experience leading a team preferably within a Customer Service focused area
High level of people skills, confident, credible, persuasive, and a collaborative team-player
Proven experience developing and implementing best practices through process and policies
Experience in creating reports and presenting to the business
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptionally well organized & responsible self-starter, who is both numerate & analytical
Comfortable with taking ownership and proposing adjustments and improvements
Energy, or utilities experience preferred, but not essential
