Job Title: Sales Support Manager

Location: London 3 days/week

Salary: Competitive DOE

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing sales team operating within one of the UK's leading independent providers of sustainable energy supply and solutions to large-scale commercial and industrial businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop the Sales Support team ensuring that all team members understand and deliver their targets

  • Recruit, set objectives, train, and monitor performance ensuring assigned tasks and responsibilities are fulfilled

  • Management of metrics/analytical systems to enable data-driven business decisions

  • Establish best practices and processes for both sales and sales interactions with other departments

  • Ensure policies, procedures, training manuals, and sales-related resource is maintained

  • Development and maintenance of periodic reports and Key Performance Indicators

  • Oversee decisions on credit, working with the Sales Manager, Commercial and Credit Control teams to mitigate credit risk

  • Collaborate with other leaders to proactively drive the commercial strategy of the business

Your Profile:

  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to bring significant value to the business

  • Significant experience leading a team preferably within a Customer Service focused area

  • High level of people skills, confident, credible, persuasive, and a collaborative team-player

  • Proven experience developing and implementing best practices through process and policies

  • Experience in creating reports and presenting to the business

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Exceptionally well organized & responsible self-starter, who is both numerate & analytical

  • Comfortable with taking ownership and proposing adjustments and improvements

  • Energy, or utilities experience preferred, but not essential
