The Green Recruitment Company are working alongside one of Europe’s leading developers of renewable energy projects. They plan, build, operate and maintain wind and solar farms as well as hybrid energy, battery storage, and hydrogen projects in 16 countries on 4 continents.
They have a strong history of successfully developing and implementing renewable energy projects since 1996. Every year, they build plants with an average investment volume of 500 million euros.
Their PPA department is a dynamic, creative, and innovative team. Their aim; to rethink and redesign the route to market for various types of renewable energies, working towards a world of direct supply agreements with industrial companies and PPAs.
This client has been successfully developing and implementing renewable energy projects since 1996. They currently realise installations with a total annual investment of 500 million euros. More than 1,000 employees worldwide work with enthusiasm on site acquisition, planning, engineering, financing and the construction of wind and solar energy plants as well as on battery storage projects for a sustainable energy supply, and they provide operational management and maintenance.
Be the clients internal “Centre of Expertise” for energy related contracts and offtake agreements in Europe
Be first sparring partner for our PPA Originator to structure PPA structures and offers
Build up an understanding and track relevant regulatory changes on route-to-market options, market design topics, and general legal frames to derive their impact on the project pipeline
Lead and steer structuring and negotiation of energy related commercial agreements (as well as accompanying contracts) with all types of risk-taking counterparties, e.g. utilities or corporates, as well as service providers
Collaborate with local finance and development team to be up to date to the status of the project pipeline in each country and align on electricity (+ all other revenue streams) sales strategy
Be the bridge between the PPA department and internal legal team as well as external legal support to ensure all contractual aspects are optimised from the client’s point of view and compliant with industry and legal standards
Relevant work experience in a commercial or contract management role in the energy industry
Understanding of at least two European markets the client is active in (e.g. UK, Germany, France, Spain)
Track-record of successfully closed contracts (power supply, standard power, GOs, PPAs)
Fluent in English in spoken and written. Additional language would be a plus (German, French, Spanish, Hungarian)
Passionate about renewable energies and storage
