Job description

The Opportunity:

A global advisory business are looking to grow their Renewable Energy Transactions Advisory team in the UK. This role will work look to provide financial advisory services to high-stakes energy transaction opportunities.

The Role:

  • Lead and conduct comprehensive due diligence assessments, evaluating financial, operational, and commercial aspects of potential transactions.

  • Offer strategic recommendations based on due diligence findings to assist clients in making well-informed decisions.

  • Provide expert insights into market trends, industry benchmarks, and regulatory considerations that impact transaction outcomes.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor and reliable partner.

  • Contribute to the growth of the Transaction Advisory and Due Diligence practice through business development efforts and thought leadership initiatives.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and delivery of exceptional client service.

The Individual:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field.

  • Proven track record in Transaction Advisory and Due Diligence roles, preferably in the Renewable Energy sector.

  • In-depth understanding of financial analysis, risk assessment, and valuation techniques.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distil complex information into actionable insights.

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams.

  • Established network within the UK business community and experience in client relationship management.

  • Professional certifications such as ACCA, CFA, or similar are advantageous.
