Job description

​We're looking looking for an experienced Project Manager in support of renewable projects. TGRC has partnered with a leading renewable energy company that develops, constructs, owns, and operates high-quality wind and solar generation, transmission, and energy storage facilities throughout the U.S.

  • This is a fully remote opportunity with approximately 30-50% travel annually.

JOB PURPOSE

  • Provide project management and technical support for the development and construction of utility-scale wind and solar projects across the United States

  • Provide due diligence review of project development and construction-related contracts, technical documents, and fieldwork

  • Responsible for safety, quality, cost and schedule performance of major construction projects from late pre-construction phase to commercial operation.

  • Interface with permitting authorities, regulators, stakeholders, and consultants to develop and implement a project execution plan

  • Review construction documents for completeness and compliance with utility interconnect agreements, power purchase agreements, land lease agreements, environmental permits, and good industry practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in the power industry with significant experience managing the construction of utility-scale wind projects.

  • Experience in managing Transmission, and solar projects is a plus.

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or construction management is preferred.

  • Knowledge of basic engineering concepts.

  • Familiarity with wind project access roads, wind turbine foundations, transmission, and distribution equipment, overhead and underground cable installation, reactive power compensation equipment, and SCADA systems helpful

  • Demonstrated ability to complete multi-million-dollar construction projects on schedule and within budget.

  • Field experience is desirable.
