TGRC has partnered with a leading renewable energy company that develops, constructs, owns, and operates high-quality wind and solar generation, transmission, and energy storage facilities throughout the U.S. This client is looking for an experienced Project Manager in support of renewable projects

This is a fully remote opportunity with approximately 30-50% travel annually.

JOB PURPOSE

  • Provide project management and technical support for the development and construction of utility-scale wind and solar projects across the United States

  • Provide due diligence review of project development and construction-related contracts, technical documents, and fieldwork

  • Responsible for safety, quality, cost and schedule performance of major construction projects from late pre-construction phase to commercial operation.

  • Interface with permitting authorities, regulators, stakeholders, and consultants to develop and implement a project execution plan

  • Review construction documents for completeness and compliance with utility interconnect agreements, power purchase agreements, land lease agreements, environmental permits, and good industry practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in the power industry with significant experience managing the construction of utility-scale wind projects. Experience in managing Transmission, and solar projects is a plus.

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or construction management is preferred.

  • Knowledge of basic engineering concepts. Familiarity with wind project access roads, wind turbine foundations, transmission, and distribution equipment, overhead and underground cable installation, reactive power compensation equipment, and SCADA systems helpful

  • Demonstrated ability to complete multi-million-dollar construction projects on schedule and within budget.

  • Field experience is desirable.
