​Project Finance Modeller - Renewable Energy Investor

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Project Finance Modeller to join our client, a leading renewable energy investor based in London. The ideal candidate is someone who has a strong background in financial modelling and project finance and is passionate about making a positive impact in the renewable energy industry.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain complex financial models for renewable energy projects, including financial statements, cash flows, debt schedules, and sensitivity analyses

• Conduct financial due diligence on potential investments in renewable energy projects

• Work closely with the investment team to develop investment strategies and identify new investment opportunities

• Perform valuations of renewable energy assets and companies

• Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports for senior management and external stakeholders

• Keep up to date with industry developments and trends in the renewable energy space

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics, or related field

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial modelling and project finance, preferably in the renewable energy sector

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large amounts of data and develop complex financial models

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Knowledge of renewable energy markets, project finance structures, and regulatory frameworks

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial modelling software
