Job description
A leading investment manager in the renewable energy sector with a growing portfolio of Independent Power Producers (IPPs) across key markets is seeking a finance professional to support day-to-day operations while contributing to strategic growth initiatives.
Role Overview:
The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in managing the financial operations of renewable energy assets and supporting broader investment activities. This is a hands-on position with responsibility for forecasting, budgeting, financing, and analytical support for M&A opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day financial operations of renewable energy assets, including cash flow management, financing arrangements, and financial reporting.
Prepare and maintain budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial models to support operational decision-making.
Monitor and analyze financial performance against targets, identifying risks and opportunities.
Support M&A activities, including financial due diligence, modeling, and valuation analysis.
Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to ensure compliance with investor requirements and reporting standards.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CFA/ACA/ACCA preferred.
5+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, preferably in energy, infrastructure, or IPPs.
Strong experience with forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling.
Exposure to M&A transactions and due diligence processes.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficient in Excel and financial systems; familiarity with project finance modelling a plus.
