​The Role:

Project Finance & Investment

• You are the senior contact person for department transactions, guaranteeing their proper execution. You train and support financing project managers and analysts in the execution of transactions of all types, particularly in negotiations with banks and investors

• You are a source of suggestions for the improvement or creation of processes in the department or with other departments in order to improve the efficiency of the activity, and ensure their proper implementation

• You define the standards for project financial models and ensure their continuous improvement

• You define and implement control procedures on financial models

• You ensure the reporting of financial information related to the project to the Head of the Project Finance department

• You participate in the development of the project financing strategy

• You participate in trade fairs, conferences and meetings and working groups of professional associations of which the company is a member in order to represent the company

Transaction Management

• You organise bank and/or investor calls for tenders and negotiate terms and conditions for the planned transactions (bank financing, junior financing, sale and/or acquisition of projects)

• You coordinate internal and external transaction stakeholders

• You create and update the financial model of the projects

• You support the administrative management team on financial and contractual issues with banks and/or investors

• You guarantee the proper execution of your transaction

Requirements:

• Master in Finance, Business School/Faculty of Economics or Engineering School with Economics and/or Energy Markets course (BAC +5)

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project financing or M&A in the energy or infrastructure sector. 2-3 years of experience in renewable energies would be desirable

• Excellent command of English, a third language would be a plus

• Excellent knowledge of banking practices and the contractual structure of project financing

• Comfort in negotiating all the banking documentation necessary for project financing

• Experience in negotiating project sales contracts would be appreciated

• Excellent command of Excel and VBA
