Project Finance Associate (Renewable Energy)
Location: Remote
We’re excited to be partnering with a rapidly growing renewable power producer, backed by one of the largest PE funds investing into North American renewables in their search for a Project Finance/Capital Markets Associate to join their Team!
They are quickly becoming a leader in the development of clean energy infrastructure and are committed to advancing the clean energy transition.
As their Project Finance Associate, you will support the team by developing financial forecasts, building and maintaining complex financial models, and assisting with capital and debt raising.

Main Responsibilities within this role will include, but are not limited to:
Lead financial modeling, analysis, and due diligence activities as part of a deal team for project and portfolio acquisitions, joint ventures, and other development partnership opportunities.
Actively participate in tax equity and debt project financings, managing modeling, assisting in financial due diligence, and contributing to structuring and negotiations.
Build, refine, and maintain financial models for in-house wind, solar, and energy storage development projects.
Actively engage and participate in the project development process, including providing guidance at key decision points on project returns and value.
Your Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Finance. Master's degree in finance, business, or related field is a plus, but not required.
3 or more years of financial modeling/analysis experience.
Tax equity experience a plus, but not required.
Renewable deal experience required.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate complex financial ideas to all levels of management.
