Job description
TGRC are working with a growing Renewable Energy Developer backed by one of the largest Infrastructure Investors in the world with nearly €5bn in AUM. Focusing on solar and operating across the full project life cycle in countries such as the UK, Italy, Spain, Germany and Austria, they are now seeking a Project Finance Associate to become an integral part of their growth in the coming years.
Location: Karlsruhe
German and English language skills essential.
The role:
Initiate, develop and manage relationships with banks and other lenders in the energy markets
Manage the structuring and negotiations of financings
Review project documentation, including PPAs, financing term sheets and loan documentation
Lead financial closing processes under tight deadlines
Lead on the development of project finance models for internal and external parties to evaluate renewable energy projects on an individual and portfolio basis
Manage project valuation tasks in close co-operation with the M&A Team
Manage covenant and reporting requirements
Your profile:
At least 3 years of previous experience from the banking/energy industry focusing on real assets acquisitions/transactions, project/corporate finance
Extensive network established throughout various transactions within the banking community
Extremely familiar with project finance structures, including partnership flips, construction financing, and back-leverage
Ability to lead and deliver on financial closes for high value business transactions under tight timeframes; investment banking experience a plus
