Job Description:

Seeking someone passionate and contributing to informed decision-making regarding energy project development, investment, and financing opportunities. This position will report to the Senior Manager of Finance and will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining financial analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Construct and manage intricate financial models to assess energy storage projects and investment opportunities.

  • Develop detailed financial forecasts for energy storage projects, covering capital costs, revenues, operating expenses, and financing elements.

  • Prepare reports and projections summarizing financial modeling results for decision-making.

  • Assist in financing and capital raising activities, providing financial forecasts and analysis to inform potential investors.

  • Research and analyze energy industry fundamentals and trends, identifying opportunities and threats for investment.

  • Assess project performance against expectations and incorporate learnings into new forecasts for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in finance is required; a Master's degree in finance, business, or a related field is a plus.

  • Financial analysis experience, with a strong understanding of the renewable energy sector.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a high degree of curiosity.

  • Proficient in financial modeling, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial ideas.
