The Organisation:

Digital Careers, part of the Digital Recruitment Company is currently working with a global investment management organisation who have operations in 20 countries and manage £1Trillion worth of assets for clients. They have over 7,000 employees and are looking to grow the digital distribution which has brought CRM, marketing and tech together. 

The Role:

Joining a newly created digital team consisting of 40 hand-picked individuals from Digital Marketing, Technology and the CRM function. Main responsibilities will be to; generate leads from existing or new clients, get people to invest into the clients funds digitally by using technologies such as web-chat and to use digital to give clients and visitors a better, faster and more accessible service.

The responsibilities of the role:


·         Lots of experience in b2b inbound marketing (your experience can come from within our outside financial services)

·         Experience developing campaigns from idea generation to execution leveraging the entire mix of online Inbound Marketing strategies such as (but not limited to)

o    Content creation

o    Email Marketing

o    Paid traffic generation

o    Social media / Blogging

·         As this is a Europe wide role, we are looking for candidates who have a secondary language from one of the major markets we operate in (Italian, French or German)

·         Experience developing a content marketing strategy including podcasts, webcasts, video, mobile and social media

·         Super organisational skills are highly regarded for this position and we would love to know how you stay ahead of the game with multiple tasks on the go

·         First rate relationship building skills and the ability to take accountability with autonomy to get the job done without intervention from people above or below you

·         The attitude of a hands-on person who gets the job done

·         A razor-sharp focus on turning web traffic into leads and the Inbound Marketing funnel

·         Experience using Google Analytics to measure the output of what you are doing

·         Experience managing budgets

·         Proficiency in Microsoft office – Excel, PowerPoint etc…


Experience and skills:


·         Create tight relationships with your Inbound team colleagues, CRM team, Web build team, marketing team as well as sales team members across the organisation

·         By leveraging expertise within the company, you will engross yourself in information about our clients and what they want / need to help them in their investment journey (persona research)

  • Meticulously engross and learn every part of the Invesco Distribution (sales) activities to give you a solid understanding of where you can leverage Inbound Marketing strategies and your skills to help achieve our core goals
  • Build an understanding on what the activity is currently on the website and by using analytics, understand how you can learn from it to start from an analytical foundation

Day-to-Day responsibility:

·         Be the key business point-of-contact within the Inbound team to plan, build and manage campaigns that attract a qualified audience to our owned online properties such as our website, landing pages, webinars and online events

·         Grow and interact with new leads by creating multiple types of customer touchpoints like call-to-actions, landing pages and lead generation content

·         Take ownership of meeting all KPI’s that are created for generating leads using our owned web collateral

·         Grow our email subscriber lists for all regions across EMEA in line with GDPR requirements

·         Build relationships with senior sales members and other stakeholders to translate business goals into inbound marketing strategies

·         Report on the success or failures of campaign using web analytics. Document your wins and lessons learnt to build up a “play-book” on how to generate leads in our space using Inbound Marketing strategies

·         Become an “inbound marketing evangelist” by educating everyone on the benefits of inbound

·         Promote our mindset: Speed-to-market, fostering positive change, being different from financial services and having an attitude of “I can do anything with digital”
