Our client is a dynamic player in the renewable energy sector, dedicated to driving innovation in energy storage solutions. They are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Project Development Engineer to join their team and contribute to building a robust project pipeline.

The Role: As a Project Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development and execution of energy storage projects. This role requires a strong technical background in energy storage systems, a passion for renewable energy, and excellent project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead energy storage projects from concept to commissioning, including feasibility studies, design, procurement, construction, and start-up.

  • Work closely with engineering, operations, and sales teams to ensure project objectives are achieved.

  • Assess the technical and economic feasibility of energy storage solutions for different applications.

  • Prepare and review key project documents, including technical specifications, cost estimates, and project schedules.

  • Oversee the integration of energy storage systems with renewable energy sources and the electrical grid.

  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure projects meet all industry standards and regulations.

  • Track project progress, manage risks, and promptly address any issues that arise.

  • Provide guidance and technical support to project teams and clients.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in energy storage technologies and market trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in energy storage project development, from concept to commissioning.

  • Strong understanding of energy storage technologies and renewable energy systems.

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
