Job description
Responsibilities:
Support the permitting process of large-scale ground mount photovoltaic projects in their full life-cycle, from site scouting to handover to the construction and operations team
Monitor project delivery timelines and implement best practices across the portfolio
Ensure a consistent documentation repository
Coordinate with internal functions (Legal, Planning, Technical, Interconnection etc) in order to successfully develop projects in a timely manner and in accordance with group’s procedures and guidelines
Discussion and agreement of technical and commercial specifics internally and with development partners
Overseeing the project structure, coordination of project planning and documentation
Accountable for costs, timeline and quality, risk management, troubleshooting and problem solving
Act as focal point within the firm for assigned projects
From time to time, support the investment and M&A team and opine on specific aspects of acquisition due diligence and documentation
Regularly research local/regional regulatory and permitting frameworks
Required Experience:
Academic degree in the area of engineering or business, with at least five years of relevant work experience in Project Management of infrastructure projects, some international experience will be viewed very favourably
Well-developed intercultural and communication skills - systematic organizational approach
Advanced user of Microsoft Office, Google Earth, basic understanding of PVsyst and AutoCAD
Fluent Italian and English language skills are needed, Spanish language competence would be an asset
Good understanding of the regulatory infrastructure frameworks in Italy
A keen interest in Solar PV, energy storage and potential hybrid and grid services applications
