The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to be partnered with Europe's leading cleantech consultancy. Their core focus is optimising commercial output by integrating technologies on smart project structures across EV Charging Infrastructure, Energy Storage, & Renewable Energy.

They are in search of a Project Developer who will be responsible for driving renewable energy projects through the pre-construction phases including management of grid applications with DNO's & stakeholder engagement with building occupiers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Taking responsibility for project development stages for projects and supporting Senior Project Managers in the delivery of large and complex projects.

  • To drive exceptional delivery, health & safety, commercial, risk management and quality performance on projects throughout the project lifecycle.

  • To act as the key, day to day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and that project development activities are delivered in a timely manner.

  • Producing financial models for renewables projects, using our appraisal tools

  • Producing initial CAPEX cost estimates

  • CAD layouts for solar installations, or working with our team of engineers to produce these

  • Managing Grid Applications to DNO’s:

  • Producing grid application documents in line with DNO requirements

  • Submitting applications to DNO’s

About you:

  • Must be degree educated, in an appropriate field

  • Working with renewables, construction, engineering or infrastructure projects

  • Experience of developing and delivering complex reports i.e. feasibilities, business cases, research presentations or analysis reports

  • Strong interest in renewable technologies

  • Strong interest in renewable energy market and political landscape in the UK and Europe

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders

  • Full driving licence
