The Green Recruitment Company, working in partnership with a renowned Power Generation client, is seeking a talented Process Safety Engineer to join their team on a 6-month contract basis.

Role Overview: As a Process Safety Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our client's power generation facilities. Your expertise will contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of process safety systems, protocols, and procedures. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify potential hazards, mitigate risks, and develop strategies to maintain the highest standards of safety across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough process safety assessments and risk analyses.

• Develop and implement safety strategies, guidelines, and protocols.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate safety considerations into design and operational phases.

• Perform incident investigations, root cause analyses, and recommend corrective actions.

• Stay updated with industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.

• Provide training and guidance to staff on process safety practices.

• Participate in safety audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Process Safety Engineer, preferably within the power generation or similar industry.

• In-depth knowledge of process safety standards and practices.

• Strong analytical skills for risk assessment and root cause analysis.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Familiarity with relevant software tools for process safety analysis.

• Professional certifications in process safety will be a plus.
