​Job title: PPA and Energy Markets Lead

Location: Germany (Remote)

A Renewable Energy Investment Fund is seeking a PPA Lead and Energy Markets specialist to develop a strategy for the new arm of the business. As the fund transitions into greenfield development, this role will identify and build external relationships with potential off-takers across Europe.

The Role:

• Coordination of tenders and contract negotiations for, among other things, PPAs, direct marketing, route-to-market and GoOs. Evaluation of existing contracts

• Identifying and building relationships with utilities, corporations and PPA service providers

• Observation and analysis of the electricity markets - be the go-to person in the company for all topics relating to electricity markets.

• Support in determining relevant parameters for the evaluation of the existing portfolio and projects that are currently being acquired.

• You support the team in liquidity management in the existing portfolio (including baseload PPAs)

• Development of an energy trading strategy

The Individual:

• University degree in a relevant course of study. A Master's degree is added value.

• Relevant professional experience preferably with responsibility and experience in the European energy markets (experience with PPAs for renewable energies)

• Experience in evaluating, structuring and negotiating long-term power purchase agreements/PPAs

• Excellent communication skills and a high level of self-motivation round off your profile
