Portfolio Analyst - Hydro
Infrastructure Asset management
Our client own and manage 570MW of energy assets across the hydro, solar, wind, reserve power and storage sectors. A 29 strong dedicated team provide asset management services to the energy portfolio.
Supported by recent fundraising and widening investment mandates the asset management team is establishing a permanent office in Stockholm, Sweden. This role includes having responsibility and oversight of the portfolio of hydro assets located in Sweden, Norway and Iceland.
Key tasks
KPI variance analysis and proactive identification of issues affecting performance issues.
Support the management of O&M contractors for material events and optimisation projects.
Support on-going digitalisation projects such as Hydro Grid and SCADA implementation.
Ensure preventative maintenance is in line with the O&M contract and ensure completion of any corrective works.
Support on regulatory, health & safety and environmental compliance.
Site visits where appropriate, delivering an inspection report and producing punch lists.
Identifying, managing and resolving non‐ or low‐level technical incidents.
Identify potential improvements and optimisation strategies.
Improve efficiency, reporting and effective monitoring of assets.
Ensuring complete and accurate record keeping.
Onboarding new acquisitions into internal systems and asset management processes.
Providing support to the wider team and generally supporting team objectives, including office administration.
Being part of the management system development including processes, structures and procedures set up.
Job specific requirements
MSc in Engineering - (Msc. Science) in relevant field
1 to 2 years of experience in asset management, project management, and/or O&M management in large-scale renewable projects
Understanding of (technical) asset management methodologies and experience in technical aspects of renewables assets.
Critical eye for compliance and safety.
Strong MS Excel and IT skills.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Strong organisational and time management skills; and
Fluent in English and Swedish.
