​Paralegal, Renewable Energy

Location: Houston, TX (On-site)

We’re excited to be partnering with a rapidly growing IPP in their search for a Paralegal to join their Legal Team!

Since being founded in 2022, they are quickly becoming a leader in the development of clean energy infrastructure and are committed to advancing the clean energy transition through seamless innovation and development.

As a Paralegal within their Legal team, you will assist the current Legal Counsel with legal resolutions, coordinating the execution of legal documents, NDA’s, and bid processes. In addition, you will help play a key role in building out the Legal team as well.

Great opportunity for an experienced renewable energy paralegal to join an up and coming renewable developer that is at the forefront of clean energy transition.

Main Responsibilities within this role will include, but are not limited to:

• Provide legal support to Counsel in the preparation, execution, and administration of NDA’s and bid processes associated with acquisitions of wind, solar, and energy storage assets

• Prepare and execute company filings

• Assist team in the preparation and execution of various operation projects

• Create closing binders and checklists for transactions

• Maintain and organize records relevant to current and future business and ongoing transactions

Your Profile:

• Previous experience in renewable energy (preferred but not required)

• Ability to understand, draft, and negotiate legal documents such as contracts, transactional, and other legal agreements

• Minimum of 2-3 years experience

• Comfortable working in a high pressure environment and prioritizing deadlines

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
