​Our client, a US energy infrastructure company that are leaders in the development and operation of energy storage assets, is looking to add an Originator at Manager or Director level to its commercial team. The company are backed by a reputable investment management firm.

This hire will be 2nd in command to the Lead Originator, supporting on PPA structuring, negotiation, and offtake across the US.

This is a diverse role which is both technical and commercial and will be integral to building and maintaining relationships with key offtake customers through direct engagement, industry conferences and working groups.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in energy project development, engineering, and/or origination, business development

• Strong commercial acumen to contribute to the business' customer engagement, with a focus on utilities and energy offtake customers.

• Familiarity with energy industry commercial transactions i.e., PPA's, hedges and tolls

Base salary in the range of $120,000-$200,000 dependent on Manager or Director level hire.
