​The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to have partnered with a Renewable Energy platform active in Solar PV, battery storage and onshore wind. They are backed by a leading energy investor.

The business is seeking an Associate to join their dynamic and innovative team to support their growth plans. The team has a successful track record in debt and equity deals in the renewable energy sector. Ideally, this role will be based in London or Edinburgh. This role will give you the opportunity to work on exciting projects and transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be a key part of the deal team for financing, offtake procurement and M&A processes

• Review due diligence materials, liaise with external advisers and help to prepare summary materials for senior management

• Help review and prepare transaction documents

• Develop and maintain the financial models to support our transactions

• Support value optimisation of the business’s existing portfolio

• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments

• Develop and maintain a broad network of industry contacts amongst developers, advisers, investors, bankers and consultants

Experience and Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience in M&A and project finance with a strong focus on renewable energy

• Prior experience working with a renewable investor, a developer or renewable M&A advisor preferred

• Excellent financial modelling skills

• Good commercial acumen

• Fluency in English AND German / Italian is a must
