Our client is a renewable energy developer and they are looking for a legal counsel to join their growing team. You will support the General Counsel with the management of legal issues and risks, and manage external legal providers.

You will support project development, construction, and operations; project financing and sponsor funding; acquisitions and divestments; corporate governance; and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Main accountabilities

• Supporting a wide range of legal issues

• Assisting external counsel

• Collaborating with deal teams on structuring and negotiating projects (including financing arrangements) and transactions

About you

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Be a qualified solicitor in England or the Commonwealth

• Have 3 years of PQE

• Energy projects experience

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• Self-motivation and time-management skills.

• Fluent in English
