As we expand our operations in Taipei, we are seeking an accomplished Lead BESS Engineer to spearhead our efforts in energy storage.

Position Overview: As the Lead BESS Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the development, implementation, and management of Battery Energy Storage Systems across our projects in the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, engineering, and deployment of BESS projects, ensuring they meet performance and reliability standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify suitable sites and opportunities for BESS installations.

• Conduct technical due diligence, feasibility studies, and risk assessments for BESS projects.

• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and procurement processes for BESS components.

• Oversee project construction and commissioning, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.

• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to BESS.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering (Master's degree preferred).

• Proven experience in designing and managing BESS projects within the renewable energy sector.

• Strong technical knowledge of battery technologies, inverters, and control systems.

• Excellent project management and leadership skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Legal authorization to work in Taipei, Taiwan.
