The Role:

• Join our Carbon and Renewable energy Trading Desk as a portfolio manager and trader of iRECs

• Develop a deep understanding of the iREC market, including buyers, sellers, and competitors

• Working with trading teams, Market Risk & others to develop accurate pricing model to enable scalability of iREC portfolio

• Develop and maintain a portfolio of new customers and counterparts active on the certificates market, prioritise your leads and turn them into clients and transactions

• Conduct day-to-day execution of trades and provide customers with essential market intelligence-analysis to support pricing, trading, and risk mitigation strategies

The Individual:

• The successful candidate will require excellent numeracy skills, be calm and confident and able to respond calmly under duress.

• Confident with communication and should be flexible enough to be able to respond to demands at short notice and knowledgeable enough to be able to prioritise on a daily basis

• The candidate will have a strong track record of energy markets and trading experience would be an advantage
