The business seeks an Investment Manager to join their South African team in either Johannesburg / Cape Town.

The role:

• Help expand the firm's financier clients in southern Africa

• Independently lead pipeline build-out of financier engagements in southern Africa

• Build qualified pipelines of commercial finance transactions in southern Africa distributed energy that would appeal to existing and potential new financiers

• Lead on financing transactions

• Facilitate financiers' screening and due diligence of opportunities
  

Skills needed:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, economics, or a related field; Masters, CFA, or other relevant industry certifications preferred

• 6+ years in project or corporate finance

• Experience in the renewable energy sector is strongly preferred

• Experience facilitating and/or deploying capital into energy and infrastructure projects

• Ability to review project and company financial models

• Proven ability to lead projects independently

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
