Role Overview:
We are seeking an experiencedRenewable Investment Managerto lead investment strategies, manage portfolios, and drive deal execution within the renewable energy sector. This role will focus on wind, solar, hydro, and battery storage projects, leveraging deep industry knowledge and financial acumen to maximize returns for investors.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and assess investment opportunities in renewable energy projects across Norway and the Nordic region.
Lead financial due diligence, valuation modelling, and risk analysis for potential investments.
Develop and execute investment strategies that align with the firm’s sustainability and financial objectives.
Manage existing renewable energy portfolios, optimizing performance and identifying growth opportunities.
Structure and negotiate project financing, joint ventures, and acquisition agreements.
Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and policy changes impacting renewable energy investments.
Collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and financial institutions to secure funding and drive transactions.
Prepare detailed investment proposals and reports for senior management and investors.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in investment management, private equity, or project finance within the renewable energy sector.
Strong financial modelling, valuation, and due diligence skills.
Proven track record of executing renewable energy transactions, including M&A and project financing.
Deep understanding of Norway’s energy market, regulatory landscape, and subsidy schemes.
Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Fluency in English; Norwegian proficiency is a plus.
